Jaxson Dart nets zero points in loss to Boalsburg Blowfish
Ja’Marr Chase was probably in Coaches cathy weaver and Doug Weaver’s doghouse after last week’s 1 point ‘performance’. He might be let out now. Chase was the key component as Boalsburg Blowfish made it look easy against Mercer Mustangs, winning 60 to 31.5. He offered up an early candidate for catch of the year.
Given their low point total, it’s not surprising that Boalsburg Blowfish had several underperformers (six to be exact). Jameson Williams was the worst of them, scoring only 1 point.
Meanwhile, Mercer Mustangs had many underperformers, but Jaxson Dart stood out, posting zero points. That made Dart the worst starter this week. He was knocked out of the game after taking this hit, and may miss significant time.
Mercer Mustangs also had to deal with a bad performance from Brenton Strange, who scored only 1 point. Strange might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game. Mercer Mustangs only had one player who gave a passable performance this week, with Garrett Wilson scoring 10.5 points.
The loss drops Mercer Mustangs’ record to 0 – 2, while the win brings Boalsburg Blowfish to 2 – 0.

Davante Adams leaves Happy Valley Violence in the rear view mirror
Orange Co. Beach Dudes took on Happy Valley Violence two times last year and won each time. The result this week then, was not surprising. Orange Co. Beach Dudes crushed Happy Valley Violence, winning 90.5 to 48.5. That 42 point margin was the biggest gap between any two teams this week.
The win brings Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ record to 2 – 0, while dropping Happy Valley Violence to 0 – 1.
Davante Adams did about as good for Orange Co. Beach Dudes this week as he did bad last week. Adams was a one-man wrecking crew, producing 32 points. He overperformed his expectations by more than any other player. His performance was also the 2nd best of any player this week.[1]
Dak Prescott helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 7.2 points. Prescott threw his 249th touchdown pass, passing Tony Romo for the all-time Cowboys lead.
Meanwhile, Coaches Chris Paret, Jeffrey Ozarski, and John Trzeciak will find no easy scapegoat for this week’s loss. Happy Valley Violence were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was David Montgomery (1 point).[2] Another underperformer, wide receiver DJ Moore, was the worst at his position.

Showtime has 25 points in blowout win over Chicago Mud
Miami Muffdivers sent Chicago Mud crying home to mommy after a thorough 87.5 to 52.5 spanking. The game evens up both teams’ records at 1 – 1.
Miami Muffdivers, who were a 5 point favorite coming into the game, had a decent start during the early Sunday games. They were powered by the duo of James Cook III and Christian McCaffrey, who scored 18.5 and 15 points, respectively. McCaffrey leaped into the endzone for career TD #100.
Meanwhile, Coach Ronnie Feldman’s squad was an absolute embarrassment. Caleb Williams kept the scoreboard operator relaxed, coming up with only 1 point. Williams went out in the 4th quarter with a serious hamstring injury, which looked like it could have been even worse.
Chicago Mud also had to deal with a poor effort from Jacory Croskey-Merritt (6.1 points below expected).
Going into the Sunday late games, Miami Muffdivers were already looking good. After Patrick Mahomes scored 25 points, the contest was over. A solid performance for Miami Muffdivers by Dalton Schultz on Monday night just put a little bit of salt in Chicago Mud’s wounds.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s 34.5 points sinks Connecticut Wildcats
Frelinghuysen Froglickers didn’t have too much trouble with Connecticut Wildcats this week, winning 100.5 to 82. The win brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ record to 2 – 0, while dropping Connecticut Wildcats to 0 – 2.
Frelinghuysen Froglickers had the good fortune of having the league’s best player this week in Jaxon Smith-Njigba. JSN made it rain for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, recording 34.5 points.
Frelinghuysen Froglickers also got a fantastic performance from Amon-Ra St. Brown, who scored 27.5 points. St. Brown is really picking up the pace in the 2nd half of his games.
Meanwhile, Javonte Williams and Colston Loveland were double trouble for Connecticut Wildcats, together scoring only 3 points. The four overperformers on Coach Ron Yeany’s squad did their part to balance things out (and then some). CeeDee Lamb was the best of them, scoring 28 points. That performance topped all but two players this week.1

Josh Allen helps give New Chester Thorobreds an easy win this week
The experts had New Chester Thorobreds winning this one easy. The experts were all kinds of right. New Chester Thorobreds gave Dallas Armadillos a 103 to 72.5 drubbing.
The win brings New Chester Thorobreds back to even at 1 – 1. The loss drops Dallas Armadillos’ record to 0 – 2.
Josh Allen was expected to be the top performing QB this week, and that’s exactly what he was. Allen separated himself from the rest of the crew on New Chester Thorobreds, tallying 33 points. He rightfully earned the first TD in the history of Highmark Stadium.
Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on Dallas Armadillos, with Malik Nabers and Quentin Johnston combining to score only 1 point.
The schedule for New Chester Thorobreds brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers around next week. Coach David Zilberfarb’s team just had a huge week, having posted 100.5 points.
Meanwhile, Dallas Armadillos will collide with Keystone Longfellows. The matchup will feature the two top TE’s in the league, as Dalton Kincaid meets up with Trey McBride.

Kenneth Walker III helps deliver a win for Keystone Longfellows
Keystone Longfellows didn’t have too many spare points in their win against Big Oregon Bang, taking this one 66.5 to 61.5. The win brings Keystone Longfellows’ record to 2 – 0, while dropping Big Oregon Bang to 1 – 1.
Keystone Longfellows won with a balanced effort, as four players outperformed their positional averages. Kenneth Walker III was the best of the bunch, totaling 16 points. That was good for 3rd place among all running backs this week. He has 150+ yards from scrimmage in both his first two games, the first time any Chiefs player has ever done that.
It will be difficult for Coach Wayne rupert to fault any one player for the loss. Big Oregon Bang had four underperformers, with Justin Herbert (4 points) being the worst.2 Herbert fumbled three times and mixed in two more interceptions in sinking the Chargers’ chances against the Raiders.
