Coach David Zilberfarb looked like they were trying to give away this game with their lineup decisions, but the team just wouldn’t quit. Frelinghuysen Froglickers strolled past Miami Muffdivers, winning 73 to 55.5.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers stumbled big time right from the get-go. Marvin Harrison Jr. was the worst of a four man group of underperformers, scoring only 0.5 points. Frelinghuysen Froglickers also had to deal with a poor effort from Brandon Aubrey (7.8 points below expected).

Meanwhile, Miami Muffdivers were at least doing decent. Ladd McConkey and Patrick Mahomes led the way, scoring 28.5 points between them.

Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Frelinghuysen Froglickers only a 9.8% chance of winning. Coach Zilberfarb’s squad blew those projections out of the water. Four players for Frelinghuysen Froglickers beat their projections, with Amon-Ra St. Brown scoring 7.4 points more than expected. It was enough to give Frelinghuysen Froglickers an unlikely victory.

Working It

Ashton Jeanty drops 24 points in leading Orange Co. Beach Dudes to victory

Coach Ron Yeany and Connecticut Wildcats did not get the season off to a good start. Coach Yeany started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Parker Washington, worked out. The other pick, Kyler Murray, did not.

Overall, these moves cost Connecticut Wildcats a total of 14 points, as Connecticut Wildcats got clobbered by Orange Co. Beach Dudes, losing 87.5 to 61.5.

Orange Co. Beach Dudes were led by the tag team of Ashton Jeanty and Dallas Goedert, who together tallied 42 points. Goedert scored 18 points, which were the 2nd most of any tight end this week. He caught this pass in the middle of four Commanders, and somehow got past all of them for a 43-yard TD.

Meanwhile, Kyler Murray stuck out as the worst performer for Connecticut Wildcats, scoring -1 points. No other player scored fewer points than that this week.

Next week, Connecticut Wildcats will take on the 1 – 0 Frelinghuysen Froglickers. Don’t look for many shrewd coaching decisions, as the game will feature the worst gameday coaches in the league so far. Meanwhile, Orange Co. Beach Dudes will take on Happy Valley Violence.

Jahmyr Gibbs and Big Oregon Bang beat the odds to get the win

Philadelphia Griffins were used to being on top last year, but this week things did not quite go according to plan. Philadelphia Griffins lost a tight one against Big Oregon Bang, 63 to 60.5. Losing by only 2.5 points, Philadelphia Griffins suffered the closest loss this week.

Big Oregon Bang, who were a 10 point favorite coming into the game, had a bad start during the early Sunday games. They had five underperformers, with Rico Dowdle (1 point) bringing up the rear. Big Oregon Bang also had to deal with a poor effort from Drake London (10.5 points below expected).

Meanwhile, Philadelphia Griffins were at least doing decent. Bijan Robinson took the lead, scoring 22 points.

Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Big Oregon Bang only an 18% chance of winning. Jahmyr Gibbs had other ideas. Gibbs scored 10 points more than he was expected to, which was enough to bring Big Oregon Bang back from the dead and into the winner’s circle.

Bring the Pain

30.5 points from Derrick Henry helps give Boalsburg Blowfish the win

It’s not that hard to win when you have the league’s top performer for the week, and Derrick Henry was that player. King Henry was the key component as Boalsburg Blowfish demolished Mercer Mustangs, winning 89.5 to 53.5. He used three touchdown runs to move up to 3rd place in NFL history.

Boalsburg Blowfish also got a big effort from Zay Flowers (11.8 points above expected).

Meanwhile, Mercer Mustangs were having trouble reaching paydirt, getting into the end zone only one time. That was the lowest TDs total of any team this week. Coach Jim Waugh can look to running backs MarShawn Lloyd and Jadarian Price when passing out blame for the poor performance in that category. The two combined to score 0 TDs.

Kenneth Walker III helps Keystone Longfellows win a laugher this week against New Chester Thorobreds

In a week that featured three blowouts, this was the biggest. Keystone Longfellows perfectly destroyed New Chester Thorobreds, winning 130.5 to 79.5. The 130.5 points Keystone Longfellows scored set the high mark for the league this week.

Keystone Longfellows were led by the three-headed-monster of Kenneth Walker III, Christian Watson, and Justin Jefferson, who together got 78.5 of their team’s 130.5 points. Walker III overperformed his expectations by more than any other player. The Chiefs just needed one yard on this crucial 4th-and-one, and he gave them 60 plus a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. New Chester Thorobreds had six underperformers, with George Pickens (1.5 points) being the worst.[1]

The loss this week certainly wasn’t Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic’s fault. They started Josh Allen instead of Jared Goff, despite the experts’ prediction that Goff should have played.

This decision netted Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic an extra 18 points, which obviously wasn’t close to enough. Still, Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic’s lineup moves made them the best performing gameday coach this week.

The Iceman Cometh

Caleb Williams’ 30 points sinks Dallas Armadillos

It wasn’t too close for comfort, but it was still pretty close, as Chicago Mud beat Dallas Armadillos 75 to 69.

Caleb Williams was the key contributor for Chicago Mud, dropping 30 points. That was the most that any quarterback collected this week. He hit over 20 mph on this scramble for a TD, something he’s been doing more than any other quarterback in the league.

The only other player doing well on Chicago Mud was Jonathan Taylor, who scored 20.5 points.

Meanwhile, this week’s loss for Dallas Armadillos was a true group effort. Quentin Johnston was the worst of a five man group of underperformers, notching only 1 point. Dallas Armadillos also had to deal with a poor effort from Joe Burrow (5.5 points below expected). Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain certainly can’t blame the loss on Evan McPherson, who scored 21 points.

Violence Prevails

Happy Valley gets the win vs. the average scores of 11-12 game.

Happy Valley Violence had the third highest score of the week with 88, lead by Jalen Coker (26) and David Montgomery (23.5). Take HVV’s 88 points vs. the average of Blowfish vs Mustangs (89.5 to 53.5 = avg. 71.5) and the Violence are awarded a win.
