Two teams entered the final weekend of the regular season with “win and they’re in” scenarios and, in the end, they took care of business and we didn’t need to use a single tiebreaker.

The Froglickers (8-5) easily dispatched the Thorobreds 80.5-36.5. The Blowfish (7-5-1) were underdogs coming into the Monday night game, but a combined 38 points from Saquon Barkley and D’Andre Hopkins propelled the Blowfish to a comeback win over Dallas 78.5-59.5.

Mercer (7-6) and Connecticut (7-6) both staged dramatic turnarounds to their seasons and end with winning records but miss the playoffs. The Wildcats won 7 of their last 9 games after an 0-4 start. The Mustangs won 5 of their last 6 games after a 2-5 start to the season.
