There were several blowouts this week, but none bigger than this one. New Chester Thorobreds (3 – 4) thoroughly dominated Philadelphia Griffins (4 – 3), winning 87.5 to 31.5. That 56 point win is the biggest blowout so far this season.

The 87.5 points that New Chester Thorobreds dropped were the most they scored this year. In the meantime, Philadelphia Griffins were busy dropping the lowest point total of anyone this season.

Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic didn’t rely on their All-Stars to pull this one out, instead getting contributions from unexpected quarters. D’Onta Foreman scored 26.5 points, while Christian Kirk scored 14. Foreman’s 26.5 point performance was the 2nd best of any player this week.1 He was a huge factor in Chicago’s upset win on Sunday: he posted three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving), leaping over defenders in the process.

Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson was the main culprit in Philadelphia Griffins’ loss, scoring -1 points. That set the new low mark for points in a week this season. Watson’s game on Sunday couldn’t have gone much worse: he completed one of five passes for five yards, tossed this pick, then left the game with an injury (possibly related to his shoulder).

New Chester Thorobreds will face off against Orange Co. Beach Dudes next week. Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic will be happy to see that Orange Co. Beach Dudes is coming into next week’s game having scored less than 55 points in their previous three games.

Philadelphia Griffins’ next game is against Dallas Armadillos (5 – 1), who has pulverized the league so far. Philadelphia Griffins will have long odds to win if Dallas Armadillos scores another 102 points, like they did this week.

Christian McCaffrey and Miami Muffdivers take down Connecticut Wildcats for their 6th win in a row

It’s probably been tough for Coach Pat landy to stay awake while following his recent games. The previous three games were blowouts, and this week’s action was no different. Miami Muffdivers demolished Connecticut Wildcats, winning 75 to 44. Despite the good result, Coach Landy has to be concerned, as this is the 4th straight week that his squad has scored fewer points than the week before.

The victory makes it six in a row for Miami Muffdivers, which gives them a 6 – 0 record. The loss drops Connecticut Wildcats’ record to 2 – 5.

Coach Landy’s squad got off on the right foot early on Sunday. They were powered by James Cook, who scored 12.5 points. That’s the most points that he’s scored so far this year.

Meanwhile, Coach Ron Yeany’s squad just couldn’t quite get it going. They got a total of 11 points from Drake London and Zay Flowers.

Going into the Sunday late games, Connecticut Wildcats were already a fairly long shot to win. After several players, including Keaontay Ingram, scored essentially no fantasy points it was all she wrote.

Jalen Hurts helps Boxboro Blowfish barely triumph over Frelinghuysen Froglickers

Frelinghuysen Froglickers entered this week’s game with a five game winning streak, but couldn’t keep it going against Boxboro Blowfish. Boxboro Blowfish just slipped by Frelinghuysen Froglickers, 73.5 to 72.5. No team this season has had to suffer a closer loss than the one Frelinghuysen Froglickers endured this week.

Boxboro Blowfish are now 3 – 2 – 1 after picking up their first back-to-back wins of the season. The loss drops Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ record to 5 – 2.

Boxboro Blowfish had several players step up in the win, as five starters beat their positional averages. Jalen Hurts was just a bit ahead of the others, delivering 18 points. Hurts has now gone six weeks without dipping below the average quarterback’s points. The Dolphins simply had no answer to Hurts, who threw two TDs and scored another on the ground thanks to Philly’s “Brotherly Shove”.

Meanwhile, Cole Kmet loomed large in the loss for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, dropping zero points. Kmet is in the midst of a troubling sequence, having seen his point total fall every week for the last three weeks. Despite playing 89% of the Bears snaps, he didn’t get a single target on Sunday.

On the coaching front, Coach Doug Weaver followed the experts’ advice for each position this week and ended up with a perfect lineup. They were the only coach this week to pull that off.

Happy Valley Violence finally get a ‘W’ this week

‘We can build on this.’ Happy Valley Violence, who stumbled into week seven with the worst record in the league, better hope so. They had just enough against Keystone Longfellows, winning 68 to 60.5.

Happy Valley Violence (finally!) got off the schneid with this win. They now sit at 1 – 6. The loss is the 5th straight for Keystone Longfellows, and puts their record at 1 – 5.

Happy Valley Violence had a one-man wrecking crew, with Travis Kelce posting 26 points. No other tight end has scored more points than that this season. This Kelce TD marked his 50th touchdown connection with Patrick Mahomes.

Kadarius Toney has been let go by multiple fantasy squads so far this year, and this week he showed why. Toney was the worst of six underperformers, producing 0.5 points. He has yet to give Keystone Longfellows even one week of above average wide receiver play this season.

Happy Valley Violence’s next game will be against Chicago Mud in a rematch from week one. Happy Valley Violence was run off the field in the previous matchup, losing by 50 points. Coaches Chris Paret, Jeffrey Ozarski, and John Trzeciak will no doubt be worried that Tyreek Hill will drop another 35.5 points for Chicago Mud like he did last time.

Meanwhile, Keystone Longfellows will take on Boxboro Blowfish next week.

31 points from Patrick Mahomes helps give Dallas Armadillos the win

This contest featured the top performing player this week in Patrick Mahomes, and not surprisingly, he played on the winning team. Dallas Armadillos made it look easy against Big Oregon Bang, winning 102 to 68 behind 31 points from Showtime. His performance this week stopped his four game streak of not meeting his projections. He was back to making the unlikeliest of plays, most notably this improvised 46-yard TD.

A.J. Brown helped out as well, exceeding his projected point total by 8.5 points. That makes it five straight games of overperforming expectations for Brown.

Big Oregon Bang are bound to have a hard time winning when Tua Tagovailoa has a bad week, and that’s just what happened. Tagovailoa was the worst of six underperformers, putting up 6 points.2 Big Oregon Bang has never won when he failed to hit his expected points, going 0 – 4. He fell victim to Philly’s stellar defense on Sunday, recording season-lows in passing yards (216), passer rating (87.5), and yards per attempt (6.8).

Big Oregon Bang did get a couple of good, but ultimately futile, efforts from Jahmyr Gibbs and Travis Etienne, who came up with a total of 34 points. Gibbs scored 17.5 points, which made him the top performer on Big Oregon Bang for the first time this year.

The win brings Dallas Armadillos to 5 – 1, and sends them to the top of our internal power rankings.

Kareem Hunt’s 13 points were key in a tight game

Coming into the game, Orange Co. Beach Dudes had scored the second fewest points of any team over the last three weeks. They didn’t do much better point-wise in this game, but didn’t need to. Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler’s squad squeaked past Mercer Mustangs, winning 46.5 to 44. Orange Co. Beach Dudes got a fairly lucky victory, winning with the 4th lowest point total in the league this week.

The win gets Orange Co. Beach Dudes back above .500 at 4 – 3. The loss drops Mercer Mustangs’ record to 2 – 4.

Kareem Hunt was the key contributor for Orange Co. Beach Dudes, scoring 13 points. There were seven underperformers keeping Orange Co. Beach Dudes from a proper victory, with Elijah Mitchell (zero points) being the worst of them. Bad performances are pretty common these days for Mitchell, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in five straight games.

Meanwhile, this week’s loss for Mercer Mustangs was a true group effort. They had five underperformers, with Sam Howell (3 points) being the worst.2 Howell’s performance ended a three game streak of beating the experts’ projections.

Mercer Mustangs also had to deal with a bad performance from Rashod Bateman, who scored only 1 point. Bateman’s performance in this, the first time he made it into the starting lineup, does not augur much for future playing time.

Amon-Ra St. Brown’s 21 points were too much for Mercer Mustangs

Last year’s playoff loss at the hands of Mercer Mustangs might still be ringing in Coach Doug Weaver’s ears, but they got some measure of revenge this week. Boxboro Blowfish skated by Mercer Mustangs pretty easily, winning 51.5 to 35.5. The two teams combined for the lowest score so far this season.

The win brings Boxboro Blowfish back to even at 2 – 2 – 1. The loss drops Mercer Mustangs back below .500 at 2 – 3.

Amon-Ra St. Brown was the clear leader on Boxboro Blowfish this week, tallying 21 points. That was the 3rd most of any player this week. He bounced back from injury in a big way on Sunday, posting season-highs in targets (15), receptions (12), and yards (124).

Mercer Mustangs, meanwhile, were having a terrible time moving the ball down the field, with the whole team gaining only 260 yards. No other team gained fewer total yards this week.

The schedule for Boxboro Blowfish brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers around next week. Bad timing for Boxboro Blowfish, as Frelinghuysen Froglickers will come into the matchup on a five game winning streak.

As for Mercer Mustangs, they will square off against Orange Co. Beach Dudes. Orange Co. Beach Dudes will have to put their wide receiver depth to the test in that one, as Nico Collins has his bye week.

Brett Maher and Miami Muffdivers beat Philadelphia Griffins for their 5th win in a row

Miami Muffdivers beat Philadelphia Griffins both times they played last year and kept that trend going this week. Miami Muffdivers stomped all over Philadelphia Griffins 76.5 to 39.5. Miami Muffdivers have now exceeded the league average point total in six straight games.

With the win, Miami Muffdivers continues their five-game streak of success, bringing their record to 5 – 0. The loss drops Philadelphia Griffins’ record to 4 – 2.

Miami Muffdivers were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Brett Maher topped the kicker average by 6.5 points to lead the team, while Michael Thomas fell only 4.8 points short of the average WR in bringing up the rear. Maher’s 14 point performance this week moves him up to being the 3rd best kicker in the league this season.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia Griffins really lost this game as a team. They were brought down by seven underperformers, the worst of whom was Baker Mayfield (2 points).1

Coach Pat landy can rest a bit after this big victory since the next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Connecticut Wildcats next week. That said, Connecticut Wildcats have been racking up the points recently, posting two straight 75+ point games.

As for Philadelphia Griffins, Coach Nicholas Fisher is probably happy with how his team has played so far this season, but he has to be concerned about his team’s recent performance. Philadelphia Griffins have now lost their last two games. Coach Fisher will have to hope things turn around in next week’s matchup with New Chester Thorobreds.

Kyren Williams helps Big Oregon Bang end their 4 game losing streak

Happy Valley Violence (0 – 6) came into this week with the worst record in the league, and finished this week with the worst record in the league. They could not make it much of a game, losing to Big Oregon Bang (2 – 4) 87.5 to 72.

The game gave sweet relief to one team, even though both teams needed it. Happy Valley Violence entered this game with a five game losing streak With the win, Big Oregon Bang put an end to their four game losing streak.

Big Oregon Bang were led by the three-headed-monster of Kyren Williams, Brandon McManus, and Travis Etienne, who together got 54.5 of their team’s 87.5 points. Williams himself scored 20 points, which topped all but four players this week. He posted a career-high 158 rushing yards on Sunday and capped it off with this hard-fought TD.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley Violence saw five different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Calvin Ridley and his 2 points was officially the worst. Ridley’s 2 points made him the worst starter on his team for the 2nd time this season.

Turning to the coaching front, Coach Wayne rupert wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. That makes it back-to-back perfect lineups for Coach Rupert.

Raheem Mostert drops 29.5 points in leading Frelinghuysen Froglickers to victory

Frelinghuysen Froglickers had the 2nd best running backs coming into this game, and they came through for Coach David Zilberfarb once again. Frelinghuysen Froglickers ran their way to a 79 to 52 win over Chicago Mud. Raheem Mostert scored 29.5 points, while Derrick Henry scored 15. Mostert racked up 132 total yards and three scores on Sunday, with 48 of those yards coming from this unstoppable rush.

Meanwhile, there’s no pointing fingers in Chicago Mud’s loss as they failed all over the place. They had five underperformers, with Justin Fields (2 points) being the worst.1 Sunday was not a fun day for Fields: he was ( easily) sacked four times before being ruled out with a dislocated thumb.

David Montgomery falling 8 points short of his expectations didn’t help matters much either. That was quite a falloff from last week, when he scored 16 points.

The only real legit performance that Chicago Mud got came courtesy of Tyreek Hill, who scored 22 points. That was good for 2nd place among all players this week.

That’s five straight wins for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, for those of you counting, which brings their record to 5 – 1. The loss drops Chicago Mud’s record to 4 – 2.

A.J. Brown and Dallas Armadillos stay hot against Orange Co. Beach Dudes

Dallas Armadillos had a cool 82% winning percentage all-time against Orange Co. Beach Dudes, and Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain delivered more pain this week. Dallas Armadillos ended up on top against Orange Co. Beach Dudes, winning 61.5 to 49. No big surprise seeing Dallas Armadillos get the win, as they were the biggest favorite of any team this week.

The win makes it three in a row for Dallas Armadillos, giving them a record of 4 – 1. The loss drops Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ record to 3 – 3.

Throughout Dallas Armadillos’ winning streak, A.J. Brown has been coming up with big performances. This week was no different. Brown joined up with Rhamondre Stevenson and CeeDee Lamb to put up 36.5 points. Brown has now overperformed the experts’ predictions in four straight games.

Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler put Matt Breida into the Orange Co. Beach Dudes lineup for the first time this week, but Breida might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Breida and Deebo Samuel combined to record zero points for Orange Co. Beach Dudes. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Breida, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last three weeks. Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler are still waiting to get one above-average week from him.

Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler’s lineup matched the poor performance of their team. They started Deebo Samuel instead of Tyler Lockett, despite the experts’ prediction that Lockett should have played.

This terrible decision cost Orange Co. Beach Dudes a total of 9 points, which–thankfully for Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler–didn’t matter much this game. After their decisions this week, Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler have now cost their team points for the season (only 1 point worse than the experts, but still).

17 points from Justin Tucker helps give Connecticut Wildcats the win

Connecticut Wildcats had traditionally struggled against New Chester Thorobreds, losing every one of the the 11 games that they’ve played, but Coach Ron Yeany put those struggles in the rear view mirror this week. Connecticut Wildcats took down New Chester Thorobreds handily, winning 84 to 65. The win brings Connecticut Wildcats’ record to 2 – 4, while dropping New Chester Thorobreds to an identical 2 – 4.

Connecticut Wildcats were led by the tag team of Cooper Kupp and Justin Tucker, who together scored 37.5 points. Tucker’s performance this week stopped his three game streak of not meeting his projections. He gave London a lesson in how to kick a football American-style, as he was a perfect 6/6 and accounted for three quarters of Baltimore’s points.

Meanwhile, Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Allen Lazard was the worst of a four man group of underperformers on New Chester Thorobreds, tallying only 0.5 points. That’s the fewest points that he’s scored so far this year.

This is the first time this year that Coach Yeany has had the same lineup in back-to-back games, and he might want to make it the last. He left Drake London and his 6.9 expected points on the bench, favoring Rashee Rice (4.4 points expected).

This decision shaved 7.5 points from Connecticut Wildcats’ score, which ultimately didn’t make a difference in the final outcome. It did make it back-to-back weeks now where Coach Yeany has cost his team points.

With the win and those 91.5 points, Miami Muffdivers now sits at the top of every component in the CBS power rankings.

Miami Muffdivers have now finished off four straight opponents after this win, which gives them a 4 – 0 record. The loss drops Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ record to 3 – 2.

Coach Pat landy didn’t rely on his All-Stars to pull this one out, instead getting contributions from unexpected quarters. Zack Moss scored 28 points, Joe Burrow got 18, and Chris Boswell dropped 9. Moss’ 28 points topped all but three players this week. He racked up an incredible 195 total yards on Sunday, 56 of which came from this huge TD run.

Meanwhile, there were plenty of chefs cooking up this week’s loss for Orange Co. Beach Dudes. They had seven underperformers, with Nico Collins (1.5 points) being the worst. Collins’ 1.5 points made him the worst starter on his team for the 1st time this season.

Coach Landy certainly deserved the win, given his lineup decisions. He went with Zack Moss over the higher ranked Jaylen Warren.

This great decision gave Miami Muffdivers a nice 24.5 point bonus, which just made the final result that much more embarrassing. It also earned Coach Landy ‘Coach of the Week’ honors, as he gave his squad more extra points than anyone else in the league.

Dallas Armadillos and Puka Nacua somehow, someway walked away with a win this week

This was expected to be a close game, and the predictions ended up being right. In the only close game this week, Dallas Armadillos just barely got past Happy Valley Violence, winning 57.5 to 55.5. Big time luck for Dallas Armadillos in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team.

The loss drops Happy Valley Violence to 0 – 5, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. The win brings Dallas Armadillos to 3 – 1.

They were led by the trio of Puka Nacua, A.J. Brown, and Patrick Mahomes, who combined for 69% of their team’s points. That makes it three straight games of overperforming expectations for Brown.

Meanwhile, Tony Pollard and Brian Robinson Jr. were both working off the same playbook this week, dropping only 2 points for Happy Valley Violence. Underperforming is the new normal for Pollard, who has gone four straight games without hitting his projected point total.

Although Happy Valley Violence lost this game, on the bright side, Dallas Armadillos were the hardest test they will face for a while. Their next two games are against sub .500 teams, starting with Big Oregon Bang next week. Happy Valley Violence will get to face Big Oregon Bang while that squad is in the middle of a four game losing streak.

Josh Allen produces 24 points to lead New Chester Thorobreds in victory

After losing three straight games, Coach Terry Muth’s squad figured: ‘Why not another?’ Keystone Longfellows got beat by New Chester Thorobreds, 82.5 to 71. The 71 points that Keystone Longfellows scored were the most they scored this year, just one week after setting their season low.

The loss drops Keystone Longfellows to the last spot in the Paterno division at 1 – 4. The win brings New Chester Thorobreds to 2 – 3.

New Chester Thorobreds didn’t have any huge performances this week, but also didn’t have anybody who really dropped the ball. Josh Allen paced the team by beating the average quarterback by 10.3 points, while Tyler Allgeier (4.3 points worse than the average running back) was the worst on the team. Allen’s 24 point performance this week moves him up to being the best quarterback in the league this season. The Bills’ loss in London sure can’t be blamed on him, who had no problem taking and completing deep shots.

Coach Muth saw some familiar names among their bad players this week. DeVonta Smith, Latavius Murray, and Cordarrelle Patterson continued to disappoint, combining for 1.5 points. It’s yet another disappointing day for Smith, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in three straight games. Despite two teammates with 100-yard games, he didn’t get much attention: he finished with one reception on five targets for five yards.

The outcome of this one would have been different if Coach Muth had gotten all of their lineup picks right. They started Jameson Williams instead of Jordan Addison, despite the experts’ prediction that Addison should have played.

This terrible decision took a 11 point chunk out of Keystone Longfellows’ final score. If Coach Muth had left Williams on the bench and also started Kyle Pitts, Keystone Longfellows would have won the game.

Ja’Marr Chase says, “YES!”

Frelinghuysen Froglickers made sure that they didn’t become the 5th straight team to lose to Philadelphia Griffins, winning 79.5 to 66.

The win brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ winning streak to four games, and gives them a record of 4 – 1. The loss is the first of the season for Philadelphia Griffins, dropping their record to 4 – 1.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers stumbled big time right from the get-go. Lamar Jackson and Jahan Dotson both did poorly, together coming up with only 6.5 points. Jackson’s performance this week ended a three game streak of beating the experts’ projections.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers also had to deal with a poor effort from Derrick Henry (7.7 points below expected). Meanwhile, Philadelphia Griffins were at least doing decent. De’Von Achane took the lead, scoring 18.5 points. New York had no answer to Achane as he was almost untouched on this massive 76-yard score.

Going into late Sunday, our projections gave Frelinghuysen Froglickers only a 18.2% chance of winning. Coach David Zilberfarb’s squad blew those projections out of the water. Ja’Marr Chase did 30.2 points better than he was expected to, which was enough to give Frelinghuysen Froglickers an unlikely victory.

Tyreek Hill helps give Chicago Mud an easy win this week

Chicago Mud (4 – 1) sent Big Oregon Bang (1 – 4) crying home to mommy after a thorough 88 to 64.5 spanking. Both squads keep their momentum (or in the case of Big Oregon Bang, “momentum”) going as a result of this match. Chicago Mud have now won three games in a row. This loss brings Big Oregon Bang’s losing streak to four in a row.

Tyreek Hill has been the key player throughout Chicago Mud’s winning streak, and came through again this week. The Cheetah joined up with George Kittle to score 54% of Chicago Mud’s points. Hill’s performance early on Sunday took him from the 4th best player to the 2nd best player in the league. He was nothing more than a blur once he got some room to run.

Coach Wayne rupert put Isaiah Hodgins into the Big Oregon Bang lineup for the first time this week, but Hodgins might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Hodgins and Romeo Doubs combined to notch 1.5 points for Big Oregon Bang. That continues a theme for Hodgins, who is yet to top the average wide receiver’s point total in any week so far.

Although only one wound up with a victory, both coaches made good decisions this week. . Coach Feldman went with George Kittle over the higher ranked Courtland Sutton.

This decision netted Coach Feldman an extra 22 points, which only added to Chicago Mud’s domination. After his decisions this week, Coach Feldman’s lineup moves are now a net-plus for the year.

As for Coach Rupert, he followed the experts’ advice for each position and ended up with a perfect lineup. This is the first time all season that Coach Rupert has pulled that off.

Connecticut Wildcats gets a one week break from a bleak season

Connecticut Wildcats failed to show up for last week’s contest, but turned things way around this week. They got past Boxboro Blowfish without much trouble, winning 92 to 75.5. The 92 points Connecticut Wildcats scored set the high mark for the league this week.

The win is the first of the season for Connecticut Wildcats, making their record 1 – 4. The loss drops Boxboro Blowfish’s record to 1 – 2 -1.

Connecticut Wildcats relied heavily on Breece Hall, who dropped 23.5 points. Hall’s performance this week ended a three game streak of failing to hit his projections. He turned on the jets (pun intended) for this incredible 72-yard touchdown.

Meanwhile, Boxboro Blowfish had plenty of duds in the loss. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine was the worst of a four man group of underperformers, notching only 0.5 points. Coach Doug Weaver found out why he was available on the waiver wire this week.

Next week will see Connecticut Wildcats taking on the 2 – 3 New Chester Thorobreds. The contest will see some top shelf QB play, as Justin Herbert meets up with Josh Allen.

As for Boxboro Blowfish, they will match up with Mercer Mustangs next week. Coach Weaver are getting Mercer Mustangs at the right time, as they will limp into next week’s game having posted less than 60 points each of the last one weeks.

Coach Ronnie Feldman definitely did not have the best game personally, but his team managed to rise above his mistakes. Chicago Mud earned a nice victory over Mercer Mustangs, winning 66 to 57. Chicago Mud won despite having their lowest point total for the year.

The win brings Chicago Mud’s record to 3 – 1, while dropping Mercer Mustangs to 2 – 2.

Chicago Mud were led by the trio of Justin Fields, Tyler Bass, and Alvin Kamara, who combined for 72% of their team’s points. Fields scored 24 points, which topped all but one quarterback this week. After only three passing touchdowns over his first three games, he tossed four on Sunday (while setting a new franchise record of 16 straight completions).

Meanwhile, Coach Jim Waugh will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Mercer Mustangs were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Kirk Cousins (6 points).1 It’s hard to say what the lowlight of Captain Kirk’s week was: throwing this 99-yard pick six, or the fact he got blown up when he tried to stop it.

Coach Feldman might have gotten the victory this week, but it wasn’t due to his efforts. He started Mike Evans instead of David Montgomery, despite the experts’ prediction that Montgomery should have played.

This terrible decision cost Chicago Mud a total of 26.5 points, which ultimately didn’t make a difference in the final outcome. It does mark the first time this year that Coach Feldman’s decisions have cost his team points.

Coach Fisher earned a perfect lineup and De’Von Achane gave a big performance

Coach Wayne rupert might have been looking to rest his nerves a bit after last week’s nailbiter. Well, he got the rest, but definitely not the win. Big Oregon Bang (1 – 3) got beat down by Philadelphia Griffins (4 – 0), losing 100 to 68.5. Coach Rupert must be wondering what he did wrong. After losing despite a good score last week, his team lost with the 5th highest point total this week.

The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. Philadelphia Griffins have now won four games in a row. Another defeat makes it three in a row for Big Oregon Bang.

Coach Nicholas Fisher put De’Von Achane into the lineup for the first time, and he came through. Although Philadelphia Griffins got a nice group performance in the win, Achane was the first among equals, totaling 21.5 points. No surprise there, as he is currently the 3rd best running back in the league. Over half of his 101 rushing yards came from this massive rush in the fourth quarter.

This week’s loss for Big Oregon Bang was a true group effort. They had five underperformers, with Chris Olave (0.5 points) being the worst. Olave was almost silent on Sunday, and his one reception and four receiving yards both qualify as career lows.

Looking at lineup decisions, Coach Fisher wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. This is the first time this year that Coach Fisher has pulled that off.

A.J. Brown leaves Keystone Longfellows in the rear view mirror

After knocking Keystone Longfellows out of the playoffs last year, you might expect Dallas Armadillos to give ’em a break this week. Well, they didn’t. Dallas Armadillos crushed Keystone Longfellows, winning 91 to 53. No big surprise seeing Dallas Armadillos get the win, as they were the biggest favorite of any team this week.

The defeat is the 3rd in a row for Keystone Longfellows, which leaves them with a 1 – 3 record. The win brings Dallas Armadillos to 2 – 1.

A.J. Brown was the clear leader on Dallas Armadillos this week, dropping 30.5 points. That was good for 2nd place among all players this week. Defenders just couldn’t figure out how to stop him, who posted two touchdowns on 175 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Coach Terry Muth will find no easy scapegoat for this week’s loss. Jordan Addison was the worst of a six man group of underperformers on Keystone Longfellows, notching zero points.

Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain was no passive bystander in the victory. They started two players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. One of those picks, Puka Nacua, worked out. The other pick, Javonte Williams, did not.

Overall, these moves gave Dallas Armadillos an extra 13 points, which only added to Dallas Armadillos’ domination. It also made Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain the best performing gameday coach this week.

Miami Muffdivers’ running backs flex their muscles

In a week that featured four blowouts, this was the biggest. Miami Muffdivers took everything from New Chester Thorobreds but the kitchen sink this week, winning 103.5 to 53. The 51 point margin that separated these teams represents the biggest blowout of the season so far.

The win makes it three in a row for Miami Muffdivers, which brings their record to 3 – 0. The loss drops New Chester Thorobreds’ record to 1 – 3.

Miami Muffdivers came in with the 2nd best performing running backs. New Chester Thorobreds came in with the 2nd worst. The results were unsurprising. Miami Muffdivers saw Christian McCaffrey carry that group with a 40.5 point effort. That was the most that any player collected this week.

New Chester Thorobreds had two different players in the running back group come up short, none of whom were worse than Tyler Allgeier, who scored only 0.5 points. Unfortunately, more bad performances might be on tap for Allgeier, who has seen his point total drop in each of the last three weeks.

The other players on Miami Muffdivers kept up with the running backs, coming up with 47.5 points. Of that crew, Stefon Diggs led the way with 30 points. This slick, defender-dodging TD catch shows how Diggs racked up 120 receiving yards and 3 TDs on only six receptions.

Nico Collins scores 28.5 points to help put away Happy Valley Violence

Coaches Chris Paret, Jeffrey Ozarski, and John Trzeciak’s gameday decisions have been the best in the league so far this season, and their brilliance was on display again this week. They left Daniel Jones and his 11.6 expected points on the bench, favoring C.J. Stroud (8 points expected).

This great decision boosted Happy Valley Violence’s final score by 10 points, which wasn’t quite enough but they lost a heartbreaker against Orange Co. Beach Dudes (3 – 1), 65 to 63.5.

Nico Collins was probably in Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler’s doghouse after last week’s 1 point ‘performance’. He might be let out now. Collins was the key contributor for Orange Co. Beach Dudes, delivering 28.5 points. That performance was the 5th best of any player this week.2 He was on the other end of both of C.J. Stroud’s TD passes on Sunday, with the better of the two being this huge 52-yard score.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley Violence didn’t have anybody who was too hot, or too cold, but this Goldilocks outcome was not ‘just right’. Tony Pollard was the ‘worst’ player, scoring 4.5, while Brian Robinson Jr. was the best on the team with 10.3 Bad performances are pretty common these days for Pollard, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in three straight games.

Both teams face trouble in the upcoming schedule. Next week, Happy Valley Violence will take on the 2 – 1 Dallas Armadillos. The game ought to be quite the strategic battle as it will feature the best gameday coaches in the league so far.

Something has to give when Orange Co. Beach Dudes and Miami Muffdivers clash, as they each come into the game on three game winning streaks. Miami Muffdivers will come into the game undefeated.

Derrick Henry has 20.5 points in blowout win over Connecticut Wildcats

The omens did not look good for Connecticut Wildcats coming into the game. They came into the game on a three game losing streak, while Frelinghuysen Froglickers had scored the second most points of any team this season. Both teams lived up (or down) to expectations.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers gave Connecticut Wildcats a 67.5 to 44.5 drubbing. The victory makes it three in a row for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, giving them a record of 3 – 1. The loss drops Connecticut Wildcats’ record to 0 – 4.

Derrick Henry did about as good for Frelinghuysen Froglickers this week as he did bad last week. King Henry joined up with Justin Jefferson to score 60% of Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ points. Henry proved he can do it all on Wednesday: he tossed this passing score, cut through the defense on the ground, and caught his one target.

Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach Ron Yeany to fault any one player for the loss. Connecticut Wildcats were brought down by seven underperformers, the worst of whom was Nathaniel Dell (0.5 points).

Although their team won, Coach David Zilberfarb didn’t have the best game personally. They left Jahan Dotson and Lamar Jackson on the bench in favor of Jerick McKinnon and Russell Wilson, who were both expected to score less.

These decisions shaved 15 points from Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ score. Having cost their team 41 points total, Coach Zilberfarb are the worst game-day coach in the league so far this season.

Tyreek Hill’s 22.5 points sinks Connecticut Wildcats

Chicago Mud earned a pretty comfortable victory over Connecticut Wildcats, winning 100 to 80.5. The loss makes it three in a row for Connecticut Wildcats, which gives them a 0 – 3 record. The win brings Chicago Mud to 2 – 1.

Tyreek Hill was the key contributor for Chicago Mud, tallying 22.5 points. The Cheetah has now exceeded the average wide receiver’s performance in every game so far this year. He was left wide open in the backfield on Sunday, allowing him to easily score the Dolphins’s first TD (of many).

Meanwhile, Drake London and Breece Hall were double trouble for Connecticut Wildcats, together totaling only 1.5 points.

Coach Ronnie Feldman did his part to secure the victory this week. He went with Courtland Sutton over the higher ranked Kadarius Toney.

This great decision netted Coach Feldman an extra 13.5 points. The good decision is just more of the same for Coach Feldman, whose gameday decisions have been some of the best in the league this season.

Davante Adams says, “YES!”

In a game that couldn’t get much closer, Mercer Mustangs slipped by Big Oregon Bang, winning 89.5 to 88.5. The 1 point margin that separated these two teams is the smallest gap of the season so far. The win brings Mercer Mustangs’ record to 2 – 1, while dropping Big Oregon Bang to 1 – 2.

Mercer Mustangs, who were the underdog in this matchup, did a so-so job during Sunday’s main action. They had four slightly underperforming players, with Garrett Wilson (3.5 points) being the worst.

Meanwhile, Big Oregon Bang were showing Coach Jim Waugh how it’s supposed to be done. Tua Tagovailoa and Mike Williams led the charge, scoring 41.5 points between them. Of Tagovailoa’s four touchdowns on Sunday, the most impressive was this no-look toss.

Big Oregon Bang also got a solid effort from Romeo Doubs (7.1 points above expected).

Going into Sunday night, our projections gave Mercer Mustangs only a 0.8% chance of winning. Davante Adams had other ideas. Adams did 21.3 points better than he was expected to, which was enough to give Mercer Mustangs an unlikely victory.

Raheem Mostert came up huge for Frelinghuysen Froglickers in this high flying contest

Frelinghuysen Froglickers took on Happy Valley Violence two times last year and won each time. The result this week then, was not surprising. In the only blowout this week, Frelinghuysen Froglickers crushed Happy Valley Violence, winning 124 to 85.5. The two teams combined for the highest score so far this season.

The defeat puts Happy Valley Violence on a three game losing streak, dropping their record to 0 – 3. The win brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers to 2 – 1.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers relied heavily on Raheem Mostert, who notched 36.5 points. That was good for 2nd place among all players this week. He found his way to the end zone four times on Sunday, breaking ankles on every score.

Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on Happy Valley Violence, with Joshua Kelley and Calvin Ridley combining to score only 3 points.

The loss this week certainly wasn’t Coaches Chris Paret, Jeffrey Ozarski, and John Trzeciak’s fault. They started three players that the experts thought should be riding the pine. Two of those picks, Adam Thielen and C.J. Stroud, worked out. The other pick, Brian Robinson Jr., did not.

Amari Cooper helps deliver a win for New Chester Thorobreds

New Chester Thorobreds came into the game as the biggest underdog this week, but they didn’t let that get them down. They got past Dallas Armadillos, winning 70 to 64.5. The win brings New Chester Thorobreds’ record to 1 – 2, while dropping Dallas Armadillos to 1 – 1.

Amari Cooper separated himself from the rest of the crew on New Chester Thorobreds, producing 17.5 points. Cooper racked up 116 receiving yards on seven receptions on Sunday (it would’ve been more had it not been for an errant whistle).

Meanwhile, while balance might be good for gymnasts, it didn’t help Dallas Armadillos this week. A.J. Brown topped the wide receiver average by 5.8 points to lead the team, while Gus Edwards fell only 5.1 points short of the average RB in bringing up the rear.

The schedule for New Chester Thorobreds brings Miami Muffdivers around next week. Miami Muffdivers will come into the game undefeated. Meanwhile, Dallas Armadillos will take on Keystone Longfellows.

Philadelphia Griffins and DK Metcalf get a gift win from Keystone Longfellows

In a game where both teams had a shot to win, Philadelphia Griffins handed Keystone Longfellows a tough 60 to 56.5 loss. Philadelphia Griffins would have only beaten one other team this week, so Coach Nicholas Fisher got pretty lucky with the schedule.

The victory makes it three in a row for Philadelphia Griffins, bringing their record to 3 – 0. The loss drops Keystone Longfellows’ record to 1 – 2.

Philadelphia Griffins had three players lead the way, with DK Metcalf, Jake Elliott, and Deshaun Watson putting up 36 points. Watson pulled off that old standby- the reverse, flea flicker screen, which after all that sound and fury went for 14 yards.

Meanwhile, Keystone Longfellows saw six different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Derek Carr and his 4 points was officially the worst.1 Carr’s 4 point performance was worse than every other player this week.2 He was forced out of Sunday’s game early with what the team suspects is an AC joint sprain (but it’s not expected to be season-ending).

Next week will see Philadelphia Griffins taking on the 1 – 2 Big Oregon Bang. As for Keystone Longfellows, they will match up with Dallas Armadillos.

Deebo Samuel takes control of the game as Orange Co. Beach Dudes wins

By a score of 62 to 53.5, Orange Co. Beach Dudes walked away victorious over Boxboro Blowfish. Orange Co. Beach Dudes won despite having the 4th lowest scoring total in the league this week. The win brings Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ record to 2 – 1, while dropping Boxboro Blowfish to 1 – 1 – 1.

Orange Co. Beach Dudes were led by the trio of Deebo Samuel, James Conner, and D’Andre Swift, who combined for 72% of their team’s points. Conner has now exceeded his points expectations in every game so far this year.

Meanwhile, there’s no pointing fingers in Boxboro Blowfish’s loss as they failed all over the place. DeAndre Hopkins was the worst of a five man group of underperformers, recording only 2.5 points. Hopkins has now failed to exceed the average wide receiver’s point total in any week this year.

Miami Muffdivers had the good fortune of having the league’s best player this week in Keenan Allen.1 Miami Muffdivers slid by Happy Valley Violence, winning 89 to 83.5 behind 24 points from Allen. He racked up 111 receiving yards on Sunday, 42 of which came from hauling in this huge pass.

Miami Muffdivers also got a better-than-expected performance from Chris Boswell, who beat his projections by 6.1 points.

Meanwhile, Coaches Chris Paret, Jeffrey Ozarski, and John Trzeciak can look to Calvin Ridley and Alexander Mattison when passing out blame for the loss. The two combined to score only 2.5 points. Ridley fell farther short of his expected points than any other player this week.

Happy Valley Violence did get a couple of good, but ultimately futile, efforts from Brian Robinson Jr. and Daniel Jones, who came up with a total of 47 points. Quite an improvement for Danny Dimes, who last week scored no points.

The win brings Miami Muffdivers’ record to 2 – 0, while dropping Happy Valley Violence to 0 – 2.

Tyler Lockett’s 18 points were too much for Chicago Mud

‘The thrill is gone’–at least when it comes to Chicago Mud’s recent games. After last week’s blowout, he was involved in another no-doubter this week (but lost this time). Chicago Mud suffered a huge loss to Orange Co. Beach Dudes, going down 106 to 72.5. The game evens up both teams’ records at 1 – 1.

When Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler entertained thoughts of winning this game, they probably didn’t include the two players that ended up leading the way. D’Andre Swift scored 23.5 points, and Nico Collins was close behind with 20.5. Swift, a Philly native, had a career-day in his first home game with the Eagles, posting a career-high 175 rushing yards and plenty of highlight-worthy plays.

Orange Co. Beach Dudes also got the benefit of a 18 point performance from Tyler Lockett. The only real bad apple in Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ orchard this week was Trevor Lawrence, who scored 3 points. Lawrence failed to score a touchdown on Sunday, but he doesn’t own all the blame: receivers simply failed to get both feet in on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, there were plenty of chefs cooking up this week’s loss for Chicago Mud. Miles Sanders was the worst of a four man group of underperformers, racking up only 3.5 points.2

Bijan Robinson helps Philadelphia Griffins to a lucky win

Philadelphia Griffins were able to grind out a solid victory this week against Connecticut Wildcats, winning by a score of 57.5 to 45.5. Big time luck for Philadelphia Griffins in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team. The win brings Philadelphia Griffins’ record to 2 – 0, while dropping Connecticut Wildcats to 0 – 2.

Philadelphia Griffins were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Bijan Robinson paced the team by beating the average running back by 5.2 points, while Brandon Aiyuk (4.9 points worse than the average wide receiver) was the worst on the team.

Meanwhile, Coach Ron Yeany can blame the loss on Breece Hall, Rashee Rice, and Kendrick Bourne, who together managed only 3 points. Hall scored zero points, which were the fewest of any running back this week. He was flattened on the Jets’ first play and things only got worse from there: he only rushed four times for nine yards and failed to catch both of his targets.

Coach Yeany has to be kicking himself for his lineup decisions this week. He left Drake London and Jared Goff on the bench in favor of Rashee Rice and Justin Herbert, who were both expected to score less.

These terrible decisions cost Connecticut Wildcats a total of 13 points, which cost them the game. This makes it back-to-back weeks where Coach Yeany has cost his team points.

Kirk Cousins drops 26 points in leading Mercer Mustangs to victory

Mercer Mustangs didn’t have too much trouble with Keystone Longfellows this week, winning 84.5 to 68. The game leaves both teams squared up at one win and one loss.

Kirk Cousins was the clear leader on Mercer Mustangs this week, scoring 26 points. Captain Kirk topped all quarterbacks this week with that performance. Incredibly, throwing for 366 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions still wasn’t enough for him and the Vikings to walk away victorious.

Coach Jim Waugh also helped out his own cause by going against the experts and starting Jake Ferguson, who scored 7.5 points.

Meanwhile, Keystone Longfellows had plenty of duds in the loss. They were brought down by four underperformers, the worst of whom was Jamaal Williams (1 point). Another underperformer, kicker Jason Sanders, was the worst at his position this week.

Raheem Mostert helps Frelinghuysen Froglickers cruise to victory

Coach David Zilberfarb looked like they were trying to give away this game with their lineup decisions, but the team just wouldn’t quit. Frelinghuysen Froglickers made it look easy against Big Oregon Bang, winning 80.5 to 46. That 35 point margin was the biggest gap between any two teams this week.

Both teams now sit at one win and one loss for the season.

Two of the key players in this fight were real-life teammates, as Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ Raheem Mostert squared off against Tua Tagovailoa. While they were on the same team, they sure didn’t deliver the same result. For Raheem Mostert’s part, he tallied 22.5 points for Frelinghuysen Froglickers. Nobody could come close to catching Mostert on this huge 43-yard rushing TD.

On the other hand, Tua Tagovailoa was not living up to his star status, totaling only 7 points. This huge 4th-down pass from Tagovailoa would’ve put the Dolphins in the red zone, but unfortunately the deep shot was picked off.

The rest of Coach Zilberfarb’s lineup followed Mostert’s lead, scoring 58 more points. That group was led by Justin Jefferson, who scored 16.5 points.

19 points from Saquon Barkley helps give Boxboro Blowfish the win

Boxboro Blowfish came into the game as the biggest favorite this week and proceeded to make the experts look good. They got the job done against New Chester Thorobreds, winning 81.5 to 68. The win brings Boxboro Blowfish’s record to 1 – 0 – 1, while dropping New Chester Thorobreds to 0 – 2.

Three players (Saquon Barkley, Gabe Davis, and Jalen Hurts) delivered victory to Boxboro Blowfish, getting 53 of their team’s 81.5 points. Barkley left Sunday’s game early with an ankle injury (the team is cautiously optimistic), but his impact had already been made: he posted 92 total yards plus a rushing and receiving touchdown. Boxboro Blowfish won despite bad games from Dameon Pierce, DeAndre Hopkins, and Chris Godwin, who together tallied 9.5 points.

Meanwhile, New Chester Thorobreds really lost this game as a team. They had four underperformers, with Khalil Herbert (2.5 points) being the worst. Another underperformer, tight end Pat Freiermuth, was the worst at his position this week.
