Coming into the game, Keystone Longfellows were the 2nd highest scoring team during the previous three weeks. This week they didn’t get big points or the win. Boxboro Blowfish made it look easy against Keystone Longfellows, winning 77 to 51.5. That point total sent Keystone Longfellows to the bottom of the points standings for the season.

With the win, Boxboro Blowfish continues their six-game streak of success, and gives them a record of 10 – 3. The loss drops Keystone Longfellows’ record to 4 – 9.

Sam Darnold was the key contributor for Boxboro Blowfish, posting 29 points. That’s the most points that he’s scored this year. Darnold exploded on Sunday, posting career-highs in passing yards (347) and touchdowns (5).

Meanwhile, there’s no pointing fingers in Keystone Longfellows’ loss as they failed all over the place. They were brought down by five underperformers, the worst of whom was Trey Benson (0.5 points). It’s yet another disappointing day for Benson, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in three straight games.

Josh Jacobs and Orange Co. Beach Dudes stay hot against Chicago Mud

Orange Co. Beach Dudes (5 – 7 – 1) got this win with a little bit in reserve, earning a 88 to 74.5 victory over Chicago Mud (8 – 5). The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. The win makes it three in a row for Orange Co. Beach Dudes. The defeat puts Chicago Mud on a three game losing streak.

Throughout Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ winning streak, Josh Jacobs has been coming up with big performances. This week was no different. Jacobs and Isaac Guerendo were the standouts for Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler; the dynamic duo together accounted for 44 points. Jacobs has now gone seven weeks without dipping below the average running back’s points. He scored three touchdowns on Thursday and he would’ve had four were it not for a pass interference call.

D’Andre Swift has been dead weight throughout Chicago Mud’s losing streak, and this week brought more of the same. Swift was the worst of four underperformers, producing 2.5 points. He has now been the worst starter on his team two times this season.

Connecticut Wildcats’ running backs flex their muscles

Connecticut Wildcats put a 40.5 point hurting on Miami Muffdivers in week one, and came back for seconds this week. Connecticut Wildcats beat Miami Muffdivers Like a drum, winning 97.5 to 44.5. The 53 points separating these teams made it this week’s biggest blowout.

The win brings Connecticut Wildcats’ record to 8 – 5, while dropping Miami Muffdivers to 7 – 6.

Connecticut Wildcats came in with the 4th best performing running backs. Miami Muffdivers came in with the 2nd worst. The results were unsurprising. Connecticut Wildcats got good efforts from two different players In the running back group, with Kyren Williams scoring 20 points to lead the way. Williams got the Rams on the board with his first touchdown of the day, then extended their lead with his second.

Miami Muffdivers had two different players in the running back group come up short, none of whom were worse than James Cook, who scored only 1 point. That’s the fewest points that he’s scored this year.

The other players on Connecticut Wildcats kept up with the running backs, coming up with 62.5 points. That group was led by Cooper Kupp, who scored 14.5 points.

David Montgomery helps Happy Valley Violence end their four game losing streak

Happy Valley Violence get to go home happy for the first time in five weeks. They had just enough against Mercer Mustangs, winning 55 to 47.5.

The loss drops Mercer Mustangs back below .500 at 6 – 7. The win brings Happy Valley Violence to 5 – 8.

Happy Valley Violence had three players lead the way, with David Montgomery, Matthew Stafford, and Tony Pollard putting up 35.5 points. Stafford averaged an impressive 10.7 yards per attempt on Sunday thanks to huge plays like these.

Meanwhile, Coach Jim Waugh will have a hard time pinning the blame for this loss on any particular player. Kareem Hunt was the worst of a five man group of underperformers on Mercer Mustangs, racking up only 0.5 points.(1) Bad performances are pretty common these days for Hunt, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in five straight games.

On the coaching front, the difference in tactical skill showed this week. They were showing off the tactical skills that have made them one of the best coaches in the league this season. They wound up with a perfect lineup this week, albeit by following the CBSSports projections to the letter. They were the only coach this week to pull that off.

Coach Waugh tried to second guess the experts this week when setting his lineup, but it didn’t work out quite as well. He left Davante Adams and his 8.1 expected points on the bench, favoring Kareem Hunt (4.7 points expected).

This terrible decision took a 17 point chunk out of Mercer Mustangs’ final score, which cost them the game. The bad decision is more of the same for Coach Waugh, whose gameday decisions have been some of the worst in the league this season.

Rachaad White and Philadelphia Griffins flip the script against Big Oregon Bang this week

This was expected to be a blowout and it was. The surprise was who blew out who. Philadelphia Griffins crushed Big Oregon Bang, winning 74 to 44.5. Blowouts are the usual for these teams these days. Philadelphia Griffins has been involved in four straight blowout games, while this is the 3rd straight blowout game for Big Oregon Bang.

The win brings Philadelphia Griffins’ record to 4 – 9, while dropping Big Oregon Bang to an identical 4 – 9.

The bulk of Coach Nicholas Fisher’s squad was playing before the end of the Sunday early games, and they got Philadelphia Griffins off to a solid start. Rachaad White led the way, scoring 20 points. White turned in his first career game with both a rushing and receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Coach Wayne rupert’s squad just couldn’t quite get it going. Jake Elliott didn’t exactly light it up, coming up with only 1 point. That made him the worst performer on Big Oregon Bang for the first time this year.

Going into the Sunday late games, Big Oregon Bang were already a fairly long shot to win. After several players, including DK Metcalf, scored essentially no fantasy points, the game was over.

Ja’Marr Chase leaves Dallas Armadillos in the rear view mirror

This was expected to be a blowout, and Frelinghuysen Froglickers didn’t disappoint. They gave Dallas Armadillos a 101 to 70.5 drubbing.

Another defeat makes it three in a row for Dallas Armadillos, and puts their record at 5 – 8. The win brings Frelinghuysen Froglickers to 10 – 3.

Frelinghuysen Froglickers relied heavily on Ja’Marr Chase, who scored 33 points. That was good for 2nd place among all players this week. Thanks to his monster performance on Monday night, he now leads the league in receiving yards (1,319), receptions (93) and receiving TDs (15).

Jonathon Brooks got his first start for Dallas Armadillos this week, but it might be his last. Brooks was the worst of six underperformers, tallying zero points. That made him the worst starter this week. He has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in four straight games.
