by CBS Fantasy Football AI Journalist

Boxboro Blowfish won their 4th in a row, while Happy Valley Violence took yet another hit to the loss column. Meanwhile, Big Oregon Bang beat Chicago Mud within an inch of their lives as part of this week’s exciting action.

No Chance

Huge blowout for Big Oregon Bang as Jordan Addison scores 23 points

Coach Wayne rupert might have been looking to rest his nerves a bit after last week’s nailbiter. He got the rest, and the win. Big Oregon Bang completely dismantled Chicago Mud, winning 98 to 49.5. The victory ended Big Oregon Bang’s three game losing streak.

The win brings Big Oregon Bang’s record to 4 – 7, while dropping Chicago Mud to 8 – 3.

Coach Rupert didn’t rely on his All-Stars to pull this one out, instead getting contributions from unexpected quarters. Jordan Addison scored 23 points, and Bucky Irving was close behind with 19. After his performance this week, Addison is looking like a darn good waiver wire pickup. He was a highlight machine this week, whether it was bouncing off defenders or making unbelievable catches.

Meanwhile, this week’s loss for Chicago Mud was a true group effort. They had five underperformers, with Brian Robinson Jr. (0.5 points) being the worst. That’s the fewest points that he’s scored this year.

Chicago Mud will be going against Boxboro Blowfish next week. Chicago Mud might need a big game to win that matchup, as Boxboro Blowfish comes into the game fresh off a 107 point performance. That game will see both of this week’s top quarterbacks square off, when Tua Tagovailoa matches up against Jayden Daniels. As for Big Oregon Bang, they will square off against Frelinghuysen Froglickers next week.

All Eyes on Me

Wil Lutz drops 22 points in leading Miami Muffdivers to victory

Dallas Armadillos didn’t want to rock the boat this week. Having been projected to score the fewest points, they went out and did just that. Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain’s team got beat by Miami Muffdivers, 57.5 to 45.5.

The loss drops Dallas Armadillos to 5 – 6, and sinks them to the bottom of our internal power rankings. With the win, Miami Muffdivers moved to 6 – 5, good for the top spot in the Cappelletti division.

Wil Lutz was the clear leader on Miami Muffdivers this week, tallying 22 points. Lutz topped all kickers this week with that performance.

Dallas Armadillos, meanwhile, were having a terrible time moving the ball down the field, with the whole team gaining only 224 yards. No other team gained fewer total yards this week.

Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain have to place a big part of the blame for this loss on themself. They left Chris Godwin in the lineup, despite the fact that he was a guaranteed zero points.

That cost their team 12.5 points, which cost their team the game. They have been outsmarted by the experts more than any other coach in the league this season, having cost their team 61 points.

Out of the Darkness

Orange Co. Beach Dudes avoids 6th loss in row with an assist from Josh Jacobs

By a score of 88.5 to 76, Orange Co. Beach Dudes (3 – 7 – 1) walked away victorious over Happy Valley Violence (4 – 7). Orange Co. Beach Dudes have now scored 164 points over the last two weeks, which is quite a turnaround given that they were the 2nd lowest scoring team in the league at the beginning of that stretch.

The game ended one losing steak and started a new one. The win brought Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ five game losing streak to an end. The defeat is the 3rd in a row for Happy Valley Violence.

After coming up with all of 1 point last week, Jaylen Waddle came up clutch this week. The rest of Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler’s team were basically spectating, as Josh Jacobs, Courtland Sutton, and Waddle combined for 79% of Orange Co. Beach Dudes’ points. Waddle scored 21 points, which is the most he’s gotten this year. He got past three defenders when he scored this touchdown, his first since Week 9.

Happy Valley Violence had never won when Rhamondre Stevenson failed to hit his expected points, and that held true again this week. Stevenson loomed large in the loss for Happy Valley Violence, recording 2 points. He has now been the worst starter on his team three times this season, which is more than any other player on Happy Valley Violence.

These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, Orange Co. Beach Dudes will take on the 5 – 6 Dallas Armadillos. Coaches dan callahan and Ross Hessler can look forward to facing Dallas Armadillos at an opportune time. Dallas Armadillos has scored less than 55 points in their last three games heading into this one.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley Violence will collide with New Chester Thorobreds. Bad timing for Happy Valley Violence, as New Chester Thorobreds will come into the matchup on a four game winning streak.

38 points from Saquon Barkley helps give Boxboro Blowfish the win

Boxboro Blowfish had never lost when Saquon Barkley overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Boxboro Blowfish destroyed Philadelphia Griffins, winning 107 to 68.5 behind 38 points from SaQuads. That was the most of any player this week. He finished Sunday’s action with 255 rushing yards, the ninth-most in a game in NFL history.

Boxboro Blowfish also got a better-than-expected performance from A.J. Brown, who beat his projections by 5.5 points. Brown’s performance this week ended a four game streak of failing to hit his projections.

Meanwhile, two players stood out for their poor performance on Philadelphia Griffins, with Jared Goff and Rome Odunze combining to score only 7.5 points. Odunze has now failed to top the league average wide receiver in three straight games.

The win brings Boxboro Blowfish’s winning streak to four games, bringing their record to 8 – 3. The loss leaves Philadelphia Griffins now with the worst record in the league at 3 – 8.

Leading the Charge

George Kittle put New Chester Thorobreds on his back for the win

This matchup was a heat check for both these squads. New Chester Thorobreds came into the game on a three game winning streak, while Frelinghuysen Froglickers had scored the most points of any team over the last three weeks. New Chester Thorobreds were the team that rose up to the challenge.

New Chester Thorobreds got the job done against Frelinghuysen Froglickers, winning 62 to 48.5. The win brings New Chester Thorobreds’ record to 7 – 5, while dropping Frelinghuysen Froglickers to 8 – 3.

George Kittle has been coming through for New Chester Thorobreds all year, and this week was no different. Kittle teamed up with Aaron Jones to rack up 29.5 points. It’s just another day at the office for Kittle, who has led New Chester Thorobreds more times than any other player. No surprise there, as he is currently the best tight end in the league.

Meanwhile, it will be difficult for Coach David Zilberfarb to fault any one player for the loss. Justin Jefferson was the worst of a five man group of underperformers on Frelinghuysen Froglickers, scoring only 1 point. It’s yet another disappointing day for Jefferson, who has now underperformed the experts’ predictions in three straight games. He was probably the cause of more four letter words than any other player, as he was supposed to post 11.5 points.

Both teams have good news in the upcoming schedule. The schedule for New Chester Thorobreds brings Happy Valley Violence around next week. Good timing, as Happy Valley Violence will come into the matchup on a three game losing streak.

As for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, Frelinghuysen Froglickers will try to get back to their winning ways as they have performed uncharacteristically bad of late, losing two games in a row. They will try to turn things around against Big Oregon Bang next week. Big Oregon Bang won this week, but that might be a good thing for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, since Big Oregon Bang has yet to win back-to-back games.

Can’t Win ‘Em All

Connecticut Wildcats can’t extend their winning streak past DJ Moore and Keystone Longfellows

Connecticut Wildcats entered this week’s game with a three game winning streak, but couldn’t keep it going against Keystone Longfellows. Keystone Longfellows strolled past Connecticut Wildcats, winning 71.5 to 55.5. The win brings Keystone Longfellows’ record to 4 – 8, while dropping Connecticut Wildcats to 7 – 4.

DJ Moore had been quiet since week five’s performance, but finally awoke from his slumber this week. Moore joined up with Trey McBride to tally 34.5 points. Moore’s performance paced Keystone Longfellows for the 2nd time this year.

The only real bad apple in Keystone Longfellows’ orchard this week was Austin Ekeler, who scored 1 point. That ended his three game streak of above-average play.

Meanwhile, there were plenty of chefs cooking up this week’s loss for Connecticut Wildcats. They were brought down by six underperformers, the worst of whom was Elijah Moore (1.5 points).

Bye Week: MER Mustangs 55.5 points
