Frelinghuysen Froglickers won their 5th in a row, while Keystone Longfellows took yet another hit to the loss column. Meanwhile, Pat landy won by setting a perfect lineup. Read all about it in this week’s report.
Bring the Pain
Ja’Marr Chase’s 46.5 points were too much for Mercer Mustangs
Frelinghuysen Froglickers started week ten with the best record in the league, and finished week ten with the best record in the league. They left Mercer Mustangs wondering where it all went wrong, winning 117 to 48. The 69 point margin that separated these teams represents the biggest blowout of the season so far.
That’s five straight wins for Frelinghuysen Froglickers, for those of you counting, bringing their record to 8 – 1. The loss was Mercer Mustangs’ 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 5 – 5.
Two of the key players in this fight were real-life teammates, as Frelinghuysen Froglickers’ Lamar Jackson squared off against Justice Hill. While they were on the same team, they sure didn’t deliver the same result. For Lamar Jackson’s part, he notched 25 points for Frelinghuysen Froglickers. Jackson cooked Cincinnati’s defense on this scramble, traveling over 58 yards and ending up just shy of the endzone.
On the other hand, Justice Hill was not living up to his star status, posting only 1 point. That makes it six straight games where Hill has underperformed the league average running back.
The rest of Coach David Zilberfarb’s lineup followed Jackson’s lead, scoring 92 more points. That group was led by Ja’Marr Chase, who scored 46.5 points. Chase set the new high mark for all players this season with that performance.
Carrying the Load
George Pickens brings the goods in a game against Keystone Longfellows
The experts must be feeling pretty smart this week. They predicted that Keystone Longfellows would score the fewest points this week, and that’s exactly what they did. They didn’t even sniff the winner’s podium, losing to New Chester Thorobreds 72 to 44.5. That point total sent Keystone Longfellows to the bottom of the points standings for the season.
This loss brings Keystone Longfellows’ losing streak to five in a row, and puts their record at 2 – 8. The win evens up New Chester Thorobreds’ record at 5 – 5.
New Chester Thorobreds got a nice group performance in the win, as five players beat their positional averages. George Pickens was the first among equals, producing 14.5 points. That made him the top performer on New Chester Thorobreds for the first time this year. His best highlight was this unbelievable touchdown grab (along with a vigorous, if strategically questionable tackle).
Coach Terry Muth put Drake Maye into the Keystone Longfellows lineup for the first time this week, but Maye might want to keep his bench warming pants clean. Coach Muth saw some familiar names among their bad players this week. Maye, DJ Moore, and Trey Benson continued to disappoint, combining for 11.5 points. Maye has now failed to top the league average quarterback in three straight games.
Someone will finally get relief next week when Keystone Longfellows and Orange Co. Beach Dudes clash, as they come into the game on five and four game losing streaks, respectively. The game might wind up as a crawl to the finish, as it features the two lowest scoring teams in the league. As for New Chester Thorobreds, they will take on Mercer Mustangs in a battle of two 5 – 5 teams.
Yep, That’s It
Sam Darnold nets only 2 points in loss to Chicago Mud
Last year’s playoff loss at the hands of Dallas Armadillos might still be ringing in Coach Ronnie Feldman’s ears, but he got some measure of revenge this week. Chicago Mud earned a nice victory over Dallas Armadillos, winning 52 to 45.5. Chicago Mud won despite having their lowest point total for the year.
With the win, They have now won three out of their last four games, bringing their record to 7 – 2. The defeat puts Dallas Armadillos on a three game losing streak, putting their record at 4 – 5.
Three players (Cameron Dicker, Jonathan Taylor, and Tyreek Hill) delivered victory to Chicago Mud, getting 26.5 of their team’s 52 points. Dicker’s performance led Chicago Mud for the 2nd time this year.
Meanwhile, Dallas Armadillos saw five different players underperform, and while none of them particularly stuck out, Sam Darnold and his 2 points was officially the worst.(1) Darnold’s 2 point performance was worse than every other player this week.(2)
Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain picked a bad week to make a bad lineup. They started Darnold instead of Patrick Mahomes, despite the experts’ prediction that Mahomes should have played.
This decision cost Dallas Armadillos a total of 7 points, which cost them the game. Having cost their team 48.5 points total, Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain are the worst game-day coach in the league so far this season.

Can’t get much closer as Joe Burrow helps Miami Muffdivers beat Big Oregon Bang
In a game that couldn’t get much closer, Miami Muffdivers slipped by Big Oregon Bang, winning 61.5 to 60.5. Close games have become a common occurrence for Coach Landy, having been involved in the most close games of any coach in the league so far.
With the win, Miami Muffdivers moved to 5 – 4, good for the top spot in the Cappelletti division. The loss drops Big Oregon Bang’s record to 3 – 6.
Miami Muffdivers were led by the one-man team of Joe Burrow, who was responsible for more than half of his team’s points. Burrow scored 33 points, which topped all but one quarterback so far this season. For the second time this season, he threw for 300+ passing yards and 4+ touchdowns… and lost to the Ravens.
Big Oregon Bang had never won when Tank Bigsby failed to hit his expected points, and that held true again this week. Bigsby stuck out as the worst performer, recording zero points. He has now been the worst performing starter in the league over the last three weeks. He was limited to just two carries and four yards on Sunday, likely due to an ankle injury.
On the coaching front, one coach’s brilliance, and another’s ineptitude, were demonstrated this week. Coach Landy did his part to secure the victory. He made the right call on every personnel decision this week. This is the first time all season that Coach Landy has pulled that off.
Coach Wayne rupert has to be kicking himself for his lineup decisions this week. Perhaps scared off by Bucky Irving’s 2 point performance last week, Coach Rupert left him on the bench in favor of Noah Brown, despite the experts’ prediction that Irving should have played. This decision took a 11 point chunk out of Big Oregon Bang’s final score, which cost them the game.

Coaches cathy weaver and Doug Weaver and Tyler Bass deliver victory to Boxboro Blowfish
The week was a successful one for Boxboro Blowfish, and nobody deserves more credit than Coaches cathy weaver and Doug Weaver. They left Jalen McMillan and Jayden Daniels on the bench in favor of T.J. Hockenson and Daniel Jones, who were both expected to score less.
These great decisions netted Coaches cathy weaver and Doug Weaver an extra 12 points and were the difference in the game, as Boxboro Blowfish (6 – 3) slid by Orange Co. Beach Dudes (2 – 6 – 1), winning 70.5 to 67.
Boxboro Blowfish had several players step up in the win, as four starters beat their positional averages. Tyler Bass was just a bit ahead of the others, racking up 13 points. Bass has now gone four weeks without dipping below the average kicker’s points.
Meanwhile, Braelon Allen and Taysom Hill were double trouble for Orange Co. Beach Dudes, together scoring only 2.5 points. Allen’s 1.5 points made him the worst starter on his team for the 2nd time this season.
These teams will see a difference in the quality of their upcoming opponents. Next week, Boxboro Blowfish will take on the 8 – 1 Frelinghuysen Froglickers. Frelinghuysen Froglickers have been racking up the points recently, posting four straight 75+ point games. Frelinghuysen Froglickers will get to slot Ja’Marr Chase into the lineup, who has been the best player in the league over the past three weeks.
Meanwhile, someone will finally get relief next week when Orange Co. Beach Dudes and Keystone Longfellows clash, as they come into the game on four and five game losing streaks, respectively. Ratings for that game might be a little low, as the matchup will feature the two worst teams in the league.
On a Tear
Bijan Robinson and Philadelphia Griffins beat Happy Valley Violence for their 3rd win in a row
Coming into the game, Philadelphia Griffins had scored the second fewest points of any team over the last three weeks. Coach Nicholas Fisher’s squad put up a decent number of points this week though, and that was enough. Philadelphia Griffins ended up on top against Happy Valley Violence, winning 60.5 to 49.
The win makes it three in a row for Philadelphia Griffins, and gives them a record of 3 – 6. The loss drops Happy Valley Violence’s record to 4 – 6.
Bijan Robinson has been the key player throughout Philadelphia Griffins’s winning streak, and came through again this week. Philadelphia Griffins relied heavily on Robinson, who totaled 23.5 points. He took the Saints’ defense for a ride when he scored this 37-yard TD.
Meanwhile, there’s no pointing fingers in Happy Valley Violence’s loss as they failed all over the place. They had six underperformers, with Demarcus Robinson (0.5 points) being the worst. Robinson might be heading back to the waiver wire after getting picked up before this game.
