Frelinghuysen Froglickers uses their running backs to show their strength
This was expected to be a blowout, and Frelinghuysen Froglickers (8 – 5) didn’t disappoint. They left tire tracks on New Chester Thorobreds (3 – 10)’ back, winning 80.5 to 36.5.
The game leaves both these teams streaking in opposite directions. The victory makes it three in a row for Frelinghuysen Froglickers. The loss is the 6th straight for New Chester Thorobreds.
Frelinghuysen Froglickers came in with the 3rd best performing running backs. New Chester Thorobreds came in with the worst. The results were unsurprising. Frelinghuysen Froglickers had two different players in the running back group come through, with Raheem Mostert scoring 20.5 points to pace their efforts. That was the most that any running back collected this week.
New Chester Thorobreds had two different players in the running back group come up short, none of whom were worse than Khalil Herbert, who scored zero points. Coaches mike white and Rich Sladic have to be used to bad scores from Herbert, who has been the worst performer on New Chester Thorobreds more times than any other player.
The other players on Frelinghuysen Froglickers kept up with the running backs, coming up with 46.5 points. Of that crew, Lamar Jackson led the way with 24 points. Jackson had no problem making huge plays when it mattered most (even on 3rd and 17).
Better Lucky than Good
Mercer Mustangs and Garrett Wilson get a gift win from Happy Valley Violence
After last week’s blowout, Mercer Mustangs got a big change of pace with this week’s tight contest versus Happy Valley Violence. The result, happily, was the same. They just edged by Happy Valley Violence, winning 43.5 to 42. Big time luck for Mercer Mustangs in this contest, as they would have lost against all but one other team.
The win gets Mercer Mustangs back above .500 at 7 – 6. The loss drops Happy Valley Violence’s record to 4 – 9.
Mercer Mustangs relied heavily on Garrett Wilson, who posted 11.5 points. This is the 2nd time this year that Wilson has paced Mercer Mustangs.
Happy Valley Violence had never won when C.J. Stroud failed to hit his expected points, and that held true again this week. Stroud was the main culprit in Happy Valley Violence’s loss, scoring no points. He posted season lows in passer rating (54.8), yards per attempt (4) and completion percentage (43.5) before exiting the game in the fourth quarter following a head injury.

Desmond Ridder and Philadelphia Griffins flip the script against Chicago Mud this week
This was expected to be a blowout and it was. The surprise was who blew out who. Philadelphia Griffins destroyed Chicago Mud, winning 83 to 58.5. With the win, Philadelphia Griffins put an end to Chicago Mud’s four-game win streak.
The win brings Philadelphia Griffins’ record to 6 – 7, while dropping Chicago Mud to 9 – 4.
Philadelphia Griffins were a picture of symmetry, winning with a very balanced lineup. Desmond Ridder topped the quarterback average by 7.6 points to lead the team, while De’Von Achane fell only 3.4 points short of the average RB in bringing up the rear. Ridder’s 19 point performance made him the top performer on Philadelphia Griffins for the first time this year.
Mike Evans has been clutch for Chicago Mud this year, but failed to show up this week. Evans was the worst of five underperformers, producing 0.5 points. His performance this week broke his four game streak of surpassing his projections. His performance on Sunday was easily his worst of the season, with lows in both receptions (1) and receiving yards (8).

Evan Engram scores 23.5 points to help put away Dallas Armadillos
Dallas Armadillos came into this week on a four game losing streak, and went ahead and signed up for more punishment. They couldn’t stay with Boxboro Blowfish, losing 78.5 to 59.5. Dallas Armadillos have now failed to top their projections in any of the past four weeks.
The win was Boxboro Blowfish’s 3rd in their last four games, bringing their record to 7 – 5 – 1. The loss drops Dallas Armadillos’ record to 7 – 6.
Evan Engram separated himself from the rest of the crew on Boxboro Blowfish, recording 23.5 points. That topped all but one tight end this season. He stepped into the hole left by Christian Kirk and delivered 95 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Coaches Paul Gilgallon and Sam McClain will find no easy scapegoat for this week’s loss. Dallas Armadillos were brought down by five underperformers, the worst of whom was Gus Edwards (zero points). Edwards has now been the worst starter on his team three times this season.

Keystone Longfellows couldn’t handle James Cook as Miami Muffdivers gets the win
It wasn’t anything to write home about, but Miami Muffdivers got the victory against Keystone Longfellows, winning 53 to 48. The loss makes it twelve in a row for Keystone Longfellows, and puts their record at 1 – 12. The win brings Miami Muffdivers to 11 – 2.
Miami Muffdivers had never lost when James Cook overperformed his expectations, and that held true again this week. Cook joined up with Christian McCaffrey to score 58% of Miami Muffdivers’ points. Cook scored 17.5 points, which is the most he’s gotten this year. It’s hard to say what’s more impressive: his perfect touchdown catch or the front flip into the endzone.
Meanwhile, there’s no pointing fingers in Keystone Longfellows’ loss as they failed all over the place. Jameson Williams was the worst of a six man group of underperformers, racking up zero points. That was the fewest of any wide receiver this week, and marks the 7th straight game that he has failed to surpass the league average wide receiver.
On the coaching front, both sides made mistakes this week. Although his team won, Coach Pat landy didn’t have the best game personally. He went with Tyler Boyd over the higher ranked Odell Beckham Jr..
This terrible decision cost Miami Muffdivers a total of 13 points. Coach Landy’s lineup moves pushed him into negative territory for the season, costing his team 10 points versus what the experts would have done.
Coach Terry Muth’s lineup moves played a huge part in Keystone Longfellows’ loss. They started Jameson Williams instead of Kyle Pitts, despite the experts’ prediction that Pitts should have played.
This terrible decision shaved 9.5 points from Keystone Longfellows’ score, which cost them the game. Coach Muth have now cost their team points in both of the last two weeks.

The win brings Connecticut Wildcats’ winning streak to four games, bringing their record to 7 – 6. The loss drops Big Oregon Bang back below .500 at 6 – 7.
Cooper Kupp had been fairly quiet since week six’s performance, but finally awoke from his slumber this week. Although Connecticut Wildcats got a nice group performance in the win, Kupp was the best of the bunch, delivering 18 points.
This week’s loss for Big Oregon Bang was a true group effort. They had five underperformers, with Tua Tagovailoa (3 points) being the worst. That’s the fewest points that he’s scored this year.
