We’ve got lots of football over the next 5 days PLUS it’s the trade deadline, so let’s look at where things stand.

TRADE DEADLINE: Kickoff this week is the trade deadline. If you’re going to trade any player, you must do so before that player’s game begins this week. There are 3 Thursday games, a Friday game, several Sunday games and a Monday game this weekend. Plan accordingly – text any trades, questions, etc., to Ron.

PROTECTION CUTOFF: Only players rostered before kickoff week 12 are eligible to be protected; so any player added after this week cannot be protected for 2024 season.

PLAYOFF OUTLOOK:

The Muffdivers (9-1) have clinched the Cappelletti Division and with 3 weeks left is one win away from clinching the overall #1 seed.

Playoff spots are looking pretty good for the Armadillos (7-3) who lead the Paterno Division by two games, and the Mud (7-3) who lead the Engle Division by one game.

After the three division winners, an additional three teams will get wildcard slots. In the past few years, nearly every wild card team had 7 wins, so there is a lot more football to be played and those teams still theoretically in the conversation are the Beach Dudes (6-5), Blowfish (5-4-1), Froglickers, Mustangs, Big Bang (all 5-5), Wildcats and Griffins (both 5-6).
