Rule Change Voting

Only 2 of the 7 proposed rule changes were passed by owners. Both rule changes will take effect this season:

1) Dropped players may be re-added by the team that dropped them after one week.
2) Active roster for regular season will be reduced from 15 to 14. (This year’s draft will be one less round).

Final votes on rule change proposals for 2005 season. All teams but one voted.

Double the league fees

Redraft entire team every year

Proposed by: Two owners: FFL (David Zilberfarb) and OCD (Ross Hessler)
FAILS by a 12-1 vote

Allow re-add of a player after one week

PASSES by a 13-0 vote

4.

Change the starting lineup rule to allow 4 WRs and 1 TE

FAILS by a 9-4 vote

5.

Change draft to Monday

Proposed by: HVV (John Trzeciak)
FAILS by a 8-5 vote

6.

Reduce protected rosters to 3 players

Proposed by: OCD (Ross Hessler)
FAILS by a 9-4 vote

7.

Reduce roster to 14 active players (down from 15 currently, still allow 2 on IR)
